(Portland, OR)  --  A ski patrol member is dead after crashing into a tree on Mount Ashland.  The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says 23-year-old Johnathan "Johnny" Patrick Likeke Walker died Saturday on the south side of the mountain.  Police say he was skiing outside the ski area's boundaries with a group of other Mt. Ashland Ski Patrol members when he crashed.
