(Portland, OR)  --  An investigation is underway into an early-morning home invasion assault against a woman in Corbett.  Police responded to the woman's home on East Bell Road just before 3:00 this morning on a report of assault with a weapon.  The woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.  It's not yet clear whether police have identified or apprehended a suspect.
