(Eugene, OR) -- Eugene Airport is reporting one of snowiest February days in history. As of late yesterday, Eugene received eleven inches of snow since Sunday night, but only eight-and-a-half of it fell since midnight Monday making February 25th the second snowiest day ever. The snowiest day happened on February 24th, 1917 when ten-point-one inches fell. The record storm has knocked power to tens of thousands, kept children home from school and has transportation officials urging people to stay off the roads.
