(Salem, OR)  --  Governor Kate Brown is set to appoint an interim Secretary of State following the passing of Dennis Richardson.  The Oregon Constitution requires Brown appoint a new secretary which she plans to do in the coming weeks.  She said she will consider appointees from the Republican party who do not have plans to run for the seat in the 2020 election.
