Police Warn Of Card Skimming Frauds In Vancouver

(Vancouver, WA)  --  Police in Vancouver are warning residents about a series of debit card frauds connected to ATM card skimmers.  The Vancouver Police Department says thieves have been taking money out of their victims' accounts after obtaining their data through card skimmers placed on ATMs.  Police say they don't have the exact locations yet of where the card skimmers popped up but that they were most likely placed at gas stations and bank ATMs.  Police are urging people to monitor their accounts and to check for any evidence of tampering before swiping a card at a gas pump or ATM.
