Forest Service Warns Hikers Of Slippery Gorge Trails

(Portland, OR)  --  Forest service officials are warning hikers about slippery trail conditions in the Columbia River Gorge.  The Columbia River Gorge Forest Service issued the warning yesterday, saying there's still snow and ice covering the trails.  The U.S. Forest Service is urging hikers to wear traction boots or snowshoes and to be prepared with extra layers, food and water in case of an emergency.
