(Portland, OR)  --  A child is hospitalized following a three-car crash that happened after a man stole an ambulance in southeast Portland.  Police say officers responded to the area of Southeast 151st and Stark Street yesterday afternoon on reports of a man standing in the middle of traffic and yelling.  Responding officers convinced the man to board an ambulance to go to a hospital for an evaluation, but police say he then took control of the ambulance and sped off, causing a three-car crash at Southeast 82nd Avenue and Washington Street.  One child was hospitalized for injuries.  Police say the suspect surrendered quickly after the crash and was arrested.
