(Salem, OR) -- Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer has agreed to a settlement with the State of Oregon over accusations involving deceptive advising practices. Attorney General Ellen Rosenbaum announced a 975-thousand-dollar agreement yesterday. The payout comes after Pfizer distributed misleading coupons that stated customers would only pay a certain amount for four drugs offered by the company. An investigation by the state found more than 300 Oregonians paid a combined 40-thousand dollars more than what Pfizer had advertised.
