(Portland, OR) -- Bail is set at 400-thousand dollars for a Portland man accused of uploading hundreds of child pornography files to the Internet. Police arrested 26-year-old John Pelan Tuesday on 20 counts of first-degree encouraging child sexual abuse and five counts of second-degree encouraging child sexual abuse. Police say Pelan uploaded hundreds of images and videos showing young children being sexually assaulted. The district attorney's office says Pelan admitted to the crimes but said, quote, "there were no real victims. It was only photographs."
