Washington Teen Pleads Guilty To Pushing Friend Off Bridge

(Vancouver, WA)  --  The Washington woman who pushed her friend off a 60-foot bridge is pleading guilty.  Taylor Smith changed her not guilty plea yesterday on a charge of misdemeanor reckless endangerment.  Cell phone video taken last August shows Smith, who is 19, pushing 16-year-old Jordan Holgerson off a bridge in southwestern Washington.  Holgerson suffered serious injuries, including six broken ribs and a punctured lung.  Smith said she pushed her friend to help her get over her fear of jumping off the bridge.  Prosecutors have recommended no jail time for Smith.  She'll be sentenced on March 27th.
