Coroner's Inquest Scheduled For Hart Family

(Vancouver, WA)  --  A coroner's inquest is scheduled next month in the case of a former Oregon family who died after crashing off a cliff in California.  The Mendocino County Sheriff's Office says the inquest beginning April 3rd will determine the manner of death for each member of the Hart family.  Police say Jennifer Hart was drunk when she crashed the family's SUV off a cliff last March, killing her partner Sarah and at least five of their six adopted children.  Toxicology reports also showed a significant amount of Benadryl in the systems of Sarah Hart and two of the children.  Fifteen-year-old Devonte Hart remains missing, but investigators say they have reason to believe he was inside the SUV at the time of the crash.  Jennifer and Sarah Hart were being investigated for child abuse and neglect in Minnesota and Texas before they moved to Oregon and later Washington state.
