(Ashland, OR)  --  Hundreds of people without natural gas in Ashland may have to wait until Friday to have their service returned.  Officials for Avista Utilities say workers have to manually relight meters for nearly 48-hundred customers who lost gas service Tuesday evening.  The utility provider has linked the outage to a problem that occurred while crews were performing a routine check within a pipeline.
