Willamette River Water Continues Rising Following Heavy Rains

(Portland, OR)  --  The Willamette River is expected to crest in Corvallis this afternoon following heavy weekend rains.  KATU-2 reports a majority of the Boones Ferry Boat Ramp in Wilsonville was submerged in rising flood waters as of last night.  The river could get as high as 63 feet between West Linn and Oregon City.  A Flood Watch remains in effect for the central Willamette Valley through 5 p.m. tonight.
