(Vancouver, WA) -- A sheriff's deputy in southwestern Washington is dead after being shot over the weekend. The Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office says 29-year-old deputy Justin DeRosier was shot Saturday night while investigating a disabled vehicle that was blocking a road in a rural area near Kalama. He was rushed to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, where he died from his injuries. Police have arrested two suspects and say a third suspect was killed in an officer-involved shooting yesterday following a SWAT standoff near Kalama.
