(Seattle, WA)  --  Researchers say a gray whale found dead in the Puget Sound was malnourished and likely died some time ago.  The Cascadia Research Collective released the results of their necropsy on the whale yesterday.  NOAA Fisheries says the whale was found dead in Washington state's Elliott Bay over the weekend.  Washington State Fish and Wildlife officials towed the carcass to shore on Monday.
