(Bend, OR)  --  The man who abandoned his one-year-old son in the woods south of Bend is accepting a plea deal.  According to a court petition filed Tuesday, Brandon Blouin of Ohio accepted a deal that will send him to prison for just over two-and-a-half-years.  Blouin made national headlines after leaving his one-year-old son in the woods last May.  An extensive six-hour search was called by authorities.  The boy was eventually found naked and face-down in the dirt and brush.  He was later found to have suffered a broken leg, cracked skull and had meth in his system.
