(Vancouver, WA) -- A man is facing charges after allegedly holding a bus driver hostage in southwestern Washington and demanding that she drive him to Portland. Police say the C-TRAN Route 72 bus was running through Vancouver Friday when the male passenger told the driver he had a gun pointed at her head. Police say he was the only passenger on board the bus at the time of the incident. The driver reportedly hit an emergency alarm and notified police, who set up some spike strips on Interstate 205, successfully stopping the bus. No injuries were reported.
