(Portland, OR)  --  A suspect is behind bars in connection to a hit-and-run crash that killed an elderly woman in southwest Portland last month.  Police arrested 30-year-old Nolan Harris yesterday morning while responding to a burglary at Metropolis Cycle Repair on North Williams Avenue.  Harris is accused of crashing into 85-year-old Ortrud Vatheuer and leaving the scene March 19th.  Vatheuer died from her injuries.  Harris is now also facing multiple charges in connection to the bike shop burglary.
