(Bridal Veil, OR)  --  A popular trail is closed because of a cougar sighting.  The Oregon State Parks closed Angel's Rest Trail and the nearby Palmer Mill Road in Bridal Veil yesterday morning after a cougar was spotted in the area.  The closure is expected to last for at least 24 hours or until the animal is captured.  Multnomah County Sheriff's deputies fired at least one shot at the cougar this morning, but are unsure if they hit the animal.  A landowner reported two goats killed by a cougar in the same area last night.
