(Yakima, WA)  --  A southwestern Washington mom is facing charges after police found her autistic son malnourished and living in filthy conditions.  KIMA-TV reports 40-year-old Christina Hoffarth in Yakima County called 9-1-1 to report that her son was throwing things around their trailer home.  She then allegedly told responding deputies that she couldn't deal with her son and left the scene.  Deputies entered the home to find a malnourished boy in unsuitable living conditions, including broken glass strewn across the floor and graffiti on the walls.  Police took the child into protective custody.  Hoffarth allegedly refused to return to the home and is now facing a charge of criminal mistreatment.
