(Salem, OR)  --  Republican walkouts in the Oregon Senate enter day five today.  Senate Minority Leader Herman Baertschiger Jr. released a statement from the Oregon Republican Party yesterday saying they plan to stand firm and remain out of state.  Eleven Republican state senators walked out last week to block a vote on a bill that would reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  At least two Republicans are needed to form a quorum required for a vote.
