(Salem, OR)  --  Minimum wage workers across the state will get a pay increase beginning next Monday.  The increase will go up 50-cents for an estimated 253-thousand Oregonians.  The increase is part of a law passed by the 2016 Oregon Legislature.  That law took what was then Oregon's minimum wage of 9-dollars and 25-cents and established annual increases through 2022.
