Four Endangered Turtles Hatch At Oregon Zoo

(Portland, OR)  --  The Oregon Zoo is celebrating the hatching of four endangered turtles at their facility.  Zoo staff report four western pond turtles hatched at the zoo last night.  Western pond turtles are endangered in Washington state.  They're classified as "sensitive" in Oregon.  The zoo plans to release the turtles into the wild once they're grown.
