Minor Twister Hits North Portland

(Portland, OR)  --  Officials are confirming that a tornado hit north Portland last night.  The National Weather Service says an EF-0 twister touched down around 5:30 last night with wind gusts of up to 80 miles per hour.  EF-0 is the weakest category of tornadoes.  The twister downed trees and power lines and brought rain and hail to parts of the northern Willamette Valley.
