Fire Danger Level Boosted To High

(Salem, OR)  --  The Oregon Department of Forestry is raising the state's fire danger level.  The department has raised the level to "high" on Wednesday in southwest Oregon.  The increase impacts one-point-eight-million acres of land in Jackson and Josephine counties.  It went into effect at midnight.
