Oregon Woman Convicted Of Stalking Teacher Sentenced To 30 Days Of Jail

(Hillsboro, OR)  --  A Hillsboro woman convicted of stalking her teacher will spend 30 days in jail.  On June 27th, 25-year-old Justine Mims was convicted of second-degree trespass and misdemeanor stalking.  Investigators say she was a student in the victim's class and became infatuated with him.  She would allegedly email him repeatedly, frequently attend his office hours and even requested they have sex.  Mims was eventually expelled from the university after ignoring warnings to stay away from the victim.  In January of 2018, Mims showed up at the victim's driveway and refused to leave, prompting him to call 9-1-1.
