(Portland, OR)  --  Police in Hillsboro are cracking down on crosswalk enforcement.  Officers were out near Northeast Century and Walbridge yesterday pulling over drivers who failed to stop for pedestrians.  Officers had one of their own pose as a pedestrian and cross the street.  Police are reminding drivers that vehicles are required to stop anytime a pedestrian steps onto the roadway.  Those who don't face a fine of more than 250 dollars.
