(Washington, DC)  --  Oregon Senator Ron Wyden is responding to President Trump's criticism of four Democratic congresswomen who are all women of color.  Wyden tweeted yesterday saying Trump regularly takes the office of the presidency lower and lower, but even by his standards, "there has been nothing more demeaning or beneath the dignity of the office than his statements over the past few days."  Trump tweeted Sunday saying Progressive Democrat Congresswomen who originally came from other countries are telling the people of the United States how the government should be run, adding, "why don't they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came."   The President was apparently referring to Democratic representatives Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar.
