State GOP Launches Effort To Recall Gov. Brown

(Salem, OR)  --  Oregon Republicans are launching a recall campaign against Governor Kate Brown.  Chairman Bill Currier filed recall documents with the state Monday in hopes of removing Brown from office.  Currier needs to collect more than 280-thousand signatures from "active registered voters" by 5:00 p.m. October 14th, according to the state's election director.  The petition says "The People of Oregon deserve and expect a governor that honors the will of the voters and works for the good of all citizens, not just special interests and politically-motivated agendas."
