Gov. Brown Signs Youth Sentencing Bill Into Law

(Salem, OR)  --  Oregon's juvenile justice system is getting some changes.  Governor Kate Brown signed the Youth Sentencing Reform Bill into law yesterday.  It provides new provisions for when serious juvenile offenders are eligible for conditional release.  The law aims to make communities safer, reduce victimization, and offer better rehabilitation opportunities.
