Man Arrested For Hit-And-Run That Injured Family

(Portland, OR)  --  Police in Washington County say they've made an arrest in connection to a hit-and-run crash that left a family hospitalized.  The Washington County Sheriff's office says deputies arrested 21-year-old Manuel Lujan-Rivera of St. Paul for the crash Saturday night on Highway 99 near Sherwood.  Nathan Ferrell tells KATU he was driving home from the Highland Games in Gresham with his two teenage daughters and their friend when a Ford Ranger pulled out in front of their vehicle, forcing Ferrell off the road.  The family's vehicle rolled several times, and the Ford Ranger crashed into a ditch.  Police say Lujan-Rivera and his passenger then fled the scene after being picked up by another vehicle.  Ferrell and the teenage girls suffered some bruises and sprains and have since been released from the hospital.
