(Portland, OR)  --  An investigation is ongoing into a large fire that burned a recycling plant in St. Helens.  Firefighters responded to the ORPET recycling center near Old Portland Road and Railroad Avenue yesterday afternoon.  The blaze sent a large plume of black smoke into the air.  Initial reports indicate the fire started in an area containing plastic bottles.  It's not yet clear what caused the blaze.
