Coast Guard Cutter Seizes 23K Pounds Of Cocaine

(Astoria, OR)  --  The Coast Guard Cutter Steadfast is back home in Oregon after seizing 23-thousand pounds of cocaine.  The crew arrived in Astoria yesterday following a 56-day counter-narcotic patrol in the Eastern Pacific.  The Coast Guard says crewmembers intercepted five vessels suspected of smuggling and seized more than 350-million dollars in cocaine.
