(Gresham, OR)  --  An eight-year-old boy is dead after drowning in the Sandy River at Oxbow Park in Gresham.  Police say the boy was at the park with his family yesterday when he went missing while playing in the water.  The boy was not wearing a life jacket.  First responders searched the river and recovered his body.
