(Portland, OR)  --  Police are releasing the identity of an officer who shot and killed a suspect in southeast Portland.  The Portland Police Bureau says Officer Gary Doran shot and killed the unidentified man during the incident Tuesday afternoon.  Police responded to the area of 122nd Avenue and Glisan on reports of an armed man trying to break into a car.  Responding officers found the suspect waving an ax and fired beanbag rounds at him, prompting him to allegedly run off.  Police say that's when Officer Doran opened fire on him.  He's been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.
