(Salem, OR)  --  Oregon state Representative Jeff Barker is resigning after nearly two decades in the state House.  The Aloha Democrat announced his resignation over the weekend, and the Oregon House Democrats confirmed the news yesterday.  Barker will serve out the rest of his term before retiring.  Barker is the longest-serving member of the House Democratic caucus with 18 years of service.
