Molotov Cocktails Thrown At Two Houses In Suspected Hate Crimes

(Portland, OR)  --  Authorities are searching for suspects after someone threw Molotov cocktails at two Southeast Portland homes in what police believe may have been hate crimes.  The Portland Police Bureau says the first home was struck Monday afternoon in the 39-hundred-block of Southeast 104th Avenue.  The second house was hit yesterday morning.  Monday's victim says they received a text from a strange number saying they were targeted because of their sexual orientation.  Police are investigating the attacks as bias crimes.  No injuries were reported.
