(Portland, OR)  --  A man is facing a decade behind bars after attacking a stranger with a hatchet in northeast Portland.  A judge sentenced 34-year-old Eric Saia yesterday to ten years in prison for the attack last October.  Saia pleaded guilty in the case.  Police say he rode his bicycle up to a man who was walking his dog on October 7th and told him to "drop his stash" before proceeding to hit him on the head with a hatchet.  The victim survived but needed several surgeries.
