(Portland, OR)  --  Police are searching for a man who went missing while swimming in the Columbia River near Rooster Rock State Park.  Police responded to the river around 6:30 last night on reports that the man failed to surface after going underwater near Sand Island.  Crews from several agencies searched the water for hours before suspending their search around 9 p.m. with plans to return around dawn.
