(Portland, OR)  --  Health officials are warning residents to avoid the water at Short Sand Beach at Oswald West State Park due to fecal contamination.  The Oregon Health Authority issued a health advisory for the beach yesterday after tests showed higher-than-normal levels of fecal bacteria.  The advisory is in effect until further notice.
