Charges Dismissed Against Man Who Drove Truck Through Protesters

(Portland, OR)  --  Charges are being dismissed against a Portland man who drove through a crowd of protesters in Vancouver, Washington two years ago.  A Clark County judge moved to dismiss the charges against William Wilson yesterday.  Prosecutors say he drove his pickup truck through a group of people blocking his path while demonstrating near 6th Street and Columbia Street in September of 2017, showing "willful and wanton disregard" for their safety.
