(Vancouver, WA)  --  A 49-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly trying to kidnap a teenage girl at a shopping mall in Vancouver, Washington.  Police say the suspect identified as Steve Hayes approached the 14-year-old girl at Vancouver Mall Saturday and threatened to kill her before dragging her away.  Police say the girl fought back, and witnesses chased Hayes down and held him until officers arrived at the scene.  Police arrested Hayes on charges of kidnapping, assault and harassment.
