(Portland, OR)  --  One man is dead after crashing his car into a canal in Baker County.  Oregon State Police say 25-year-old Evan Simonski-Davis of Baker City was driving south on Highway 7 Wednesday afternoon when his vehicle left the roadway and rolled into a canal.  Police say speed and failure to use a seat belt may have been contributing factors.
