(St. Helens, OR)  --  Police are releasing the identity of a shooting suspect who was killed by police in St. Helens.  Police say 32-year-old Michael Thomas Veatch died Wednesday after an officer "used deadly force" on him during a pursuit along Highway 30.  Police responded to the Chevron on the highway on reports that someone inside the shop had fired off several shots.  Police believe Veatch was connected to the shooting death of Cowlitz County Sheriff's Deputy Justin DeRosier back in April.
