(Portland, OR)  --  The Wapato Jail facility is coming down to make room for a warehouse.  The building's owner held a press conference yesterday saying he plans to demolish the jail to build a warehouse unless local leaders can come up with a plan soon to use the facility to house the homeless.  The building owner says he's been working with experts to come up with a plan on that front but that city and county leaders haven't been able to come to an agreement.  He says that after a year and a half of owning the property, he can no longer afford to pay for its upkeep.
