(Vancouver, WA) -- A fundraiser is scheduled today for the family of a 10-year-old boy who was hit by a car and killed while riding his bike to school. KATU reports the fundraiser for Damien Trick's family is set for 5 to 10 p.m. tonight at the IHOP on Southeast 164th Avenue in Vancouver. Friends and family members held a vigil for Trick on Saturday night. Police say he was riding his bicycle to school last week when a driver crashed into him. That driver was reportedly taking his own child to school at the time of the crash.
