Police Searching For Teens Who Pepper Sprayed Plaid Pantry Clerk

(Portland, OR)  --  Police are searching for a group of teenagers accused of pepper spraying a convenience store clerk and then stealing several items in northeast Portland.  Police say the incident happened Sunday night at the Plaid Pantry near Northeast 81st Avenue and Fremont Street.  Police say four boys and one girl ages 12 through 15 walked into the store and started shoplifting items.  When the store clerk confronted them, they allegedly pepper sprayed him and fled the scene on foot.
