(Portland, OR) -- Police are searching for a suspect accused of breaking into two shops in northeast Portland and leaving a strange butter sculpture in one of the businesses. The Portland Police Department says the suspect threw a rock through a glass back door at Pairings Portland Wine Shop and Bar on Northeast 24th Avenue sometime Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. Police say the suspect then placed a stick of butter with a spoon stabbed into it on the bar before grabbing a cash box and leaving. He then allegedly smashed his way into the restaurant 24th and Meatballs across the street. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
