(Portland, OR)  --  A pedestrian is seriously injured after being hit by a car in northeast Portland.  Police say the victim was walking on Northeast Sandy Boulevard near Lawrence Avenue last night when a driver struck them.  The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.  Police say the driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
