(Portland, OR)  --  An investigation is ongoing into the discovery of a noose at a Portland elementary school.  School officials at Chapman Elementary announced yesterday that a maintenance worker found the noose in the fan room under the school building.  Police are investigating.  The district is also conducting an internal investigation and says it doesn't believe any students saw or were involved in the incident.  Support services are being provided at the campus for students and staff.
